Lift-off-Termine für 2010


Bevor das Space-Shuttle-Programm 2011 eingestellt wird, sollte man sich einen der diesjährigen Raketenstarts auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Hier sind die Termine für 2010:

February 7, 2010 • STS-130 Space Shuttle Endeavour
Launch time: 4:39 a.m. EST
Launch site: LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida
STS-130 will be the 32nd U.S. mission to the International Space Station. The flight will deliver Tranquility connecting node and the Cupola, a module with seven windows to provide a unique view around the station.

February 9, 2010 • Atlas - SDO
Launch time: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. ET
Launch site: SLC-41, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida
The United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket will launch NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory. SDO will be the first mission for the space agency's Living With a Star Program.

March 1, 2010 • Delta 4 - GOES P
Launch window: 6:19 p.m. - 7:19 p.m. ET
Launch site: SLC-37B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida
GOES-P is the latest in a series of meteorological satellites designed to watch for storm development and weather conditions on Earth.

March 18, 2010 • STS-131 Shuttle Discovery
Launch time: 1:34 p.m. EDT
Launch site: LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida
STS-131 will be the 33rd U.S. mission to the International Space Station. The flight will carry a Multi-Purpose Logistics Module with supplies and experiments for utilization aboard the station.

May 13, 2010 • Delta IV - GPS - 2F1
Launch time: 3:19 a.m. - 3:37 a.m. ET
Launch site: SLC-37B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida
A Delta IV rocket will launch the Air Force's Block 2F navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System

May 14, 2010 • STS-132 Shuttle Atlantis
Launch time: :28 p.m. EDT
Launch site: LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida
STS-132 Space shuttle Atlantis mission will carry an integrated cargo carrier to deliver maintenance and assembly hardware, including spare parts for space station systems. In addition, the second in a series of new pressurized components for Russia, a Mini Research Module, will be permanently attached to the bottom port of the Zarya module.

July 29, 2010 • STS-134 Shuttle Endeavour
Launch time: 7:51 a.m. EDT
Launch site: LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida
Space shuttle Endeavour will deliver an EXPRESS Logistics Carrier-3 (ELC-3) and an Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) to the International Space Station.

September 16, 2010 • STS-133 Shuttle Discovery
Launch time: 11:57 a.m. EDT
Launch site: LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida
STS-133 Space shuttle Discovery will deliver the Express Logistics Carrier 4 (ELC4), a Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MLPM) and critical spare components to the International Space Station.
